What it's called when a sticky clear watery substance is constantly in your urethra most all the time and you have pain in your pelvic and groin and lower back that radiates to your right buttock and right leg.Is this cis bladder cancer or is this bladder cancer or bladder infection . I wan't to know because i've had chronic microscopic hematuria for six years now and i've had this clear sticky watery substance in my urethra constantly most all the time about eight years now .What could this problem be bladder cancer .Could a person have an infection sticky clear watery fluid substance in his urethra penis for eight years. Is this prostate cancer or prostiatitus .

Hi,

"There are multiple causes of blood in urine. Some are serious, including cancers, trauma, stones, infections, and obstructions of the urinary tract. Others are less important and may require no treatment. These may include viral infections, nonspecific inflammations of the kidney, medications which thin the blood's clotting ability, and benign prostate enlargement"

Is the hematuria also accompanied by WBCs in urine?

You will need to rule out  infections, STDs, and prostate inflammation along with renal calculi.
A prostate examination, including a prostate ultrasound, will help diagnose prostatic involvement in this condition.

Do consult a urologist for assessment and management of these symptoms.
Keep us posted on your doubts and progress.

I was told each time by the Doctor and Urologist when i had the urine tests that i did not have WBCs in my urine. And also i didn't have the pains then either. My urologist gave me an ivp.kidney and bladder x-ray test in 2002 and he said that thex-rays were normal. But when he showed me the x-rays i saw a bright white lump or mass on the out side of my bladder on the ivp.x-ray screen the urologist said that every man has that bright white lump or mass on the out side part of their bladder. If the ivp.x-ray screen shows a bright white lump or medium round shape  mass thats bright white on ivp x-ray screen is it a bladder cancer tumor or is it normal.
