Unprotected sex during menopause and possibility of pregnancy

by art5967, Jul 16, 2008 11:56AM
I am 41 and went through an early menopause. I had premenopausal symptoms when I was 38. Blood tests and ultrasound tests were done 6 months ago and my doctor confirmed that I am menopausal. I havent had periods since  a whole year or more. Last week my husband and I had unprotected sex and now I am nervous that I may be pregnant. Is this possible? Should I consult my doctor. We really do not want to have anymore children. I took Plan B not immediately but after 2 days. I have been having light vaginal discharge and am tired with mild backache.

Any thoughts and suggestions would be appreciated.
