Sorry, I would as the doctor to give you something to take the edge off. I had to for a colposcopy. I could not bare it without whatever it was they gave me.
I've had two episiotomies and both took months to heal fully. At night laying in bed, the rectal area would just ache. And it was worse with my first as I had postpartum depression as well. It made the whole healing process hard to get through.
I really recommend you go see your doctor!

And to think I was told I had a high threshold for pain after delivery. Go figure.
But they don't understand. It was a nightmare and that's why I can't even bring myself to go back! lol
