Hair loss in woman 30 yrs old, stopped taking the pill, is this why?

I am a 30 year old woman who has been experiencing rapid hair loss. My hair is thinning more and more everyday. I was on the pill for 12 years and stopped taking it 8 months ago. I have had hair loss (more then average) for about 5 of those months and steadily increasing. I had a one time dose of a blood thinner in November which is why I stopped taking the pill (blood clotting).
I do not smoke, am athletic, and 130 pounds at 5'8. I take a multi-vitamin every now and then and eat fairly healthy. Any ideas? I have dry scalp but also eczema which is probably related. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
