Went to labour and delivery last night

Last night I was at Walmart and needed to use the washroom, TMI, felt like I needed to have a bowel movement. Well anyways I tried and nothing happened. Well when I wiped there was blood and in the toilet there was lots of blood. I have bled with other pregnancies but this was the most ever. Even if you added up all the other times there wasn't this much. Needless to say I freaked since yesterday I was exactly 25 weeks.
I went to my parents house and told mom, she was watching my 1 & 3 year olds. She said go to the hospital. Well I picked up my husband and we went and were there for about 2 hours. I bi-passed emerge and just went to labour and delivery. I was hooked up for 2 hours and everything seemed fine. Heart rate was 165 to 170. Her normal at all 5 u/s have been 143. They did an internal and everything is closed but my cervix is soft to medium. What ever that means. But the docter said it is common for women with several children. The bleeding did stop. But he couldn't tell me why I had it. Could be a blood vessel, cervix irritation, constipation and straining.... But he said if it happens again to go straight there and we will have to get that needle to rapidly increase lung development. I'm not to lift anything and we are taking a wait and see approach. I'm still scared...
I have had belly pain but I figure it is loose muscles and ligament pain. I don't get contractions and when I do my babies are born within 4 hours. I have no false ones...
Hopefully the u/s today at 1pm will show nothing, b/c the doctor said if it shows nothing it is good. If it shows something it is really really bad, because it has to be something really big and terriable to show up on an u/s.
Here is crossing my fingers... and saying a prayer. Thank God I work at a church. I'm going to ask the priest to do a blessing on my child and I as soon as he is out of mass.

I have a follow up appointment on July 23 with my obgyn. Hopefully everything will be okay. I've only had old brown blood today so hopefully that will be the last of it.
I'm trying to be really good. But with 2 it can me hard. Belly is sore but I still think it is ligaments.
I am relieved to read that you are fairing well now. Take it easy you have too many more weeks to go yet and with two little ones that ought to be a challenge.
