staph/folliculitis/or..?

alright. here's the deal...
ive gotten these bumps on my vaginal area & my first reaction was razor burn. the syptoms now seem far worse. there's also a few "abnormal" looking bumps. & for the last several days a spot came up on my lower side that has quite a few similarities with staph infection.
to be honest, im worried. my boyfriend has told me he's been tested for std's but he has had staph. im afraid that i may have gotten it from him. which would be far better than an std. maybe i should go to the doctor, but i cant go then find out its something due to sex, because of my mother. but if i have a definate assumption that its possibly staph or folliculitis than ill surely go.
but until then, if any of you have knowlege on the subject, know what i can do, please help me out.
