Surgical excision or laser surgery for anal warts?

I have anal warts and am choosing which procedure to have done, laser or surgical excision. Is there a major difference between the outcome/side effects or the recovery time?

Also, about how much recovery time should I expect before I'm up on my feet again without any major restrictions?

Laser involves burning, surgical excision involves cutting. There may be some scarring with either procedure, but nothing absolutely terrible. I am not sure about recovery time, this would be something to ask your doctor about.
