Post Cervical Surgery Problems

by vipergirl, Jul 17, 2008 04:48PM
5 yrs. ago I had severe spinal stenosis, resulting in a Decompression Surgery of C3 to C7 and a fusion of C3 thru C5. I have been been having awful neck pain and now headaches at the end of the day.  I had a new MRI and it states;

C3-4: there is a disk osteophyte complex. There is a superimposed protrusion extending beyond the osteophyte margins in comparison to the right posterolareally. There is mild narrowing of the left neural foramen.  There is mild, bilateral, neural forminal compromise. The protrusion slightly indents the right ventral thecal sac. The overall dimension of the central canal is widely patent.
Also, it states: There is a fairly large focus of marrow signal abnormality at T2 that is likely representative of a hemangioma. There is no significant marrow edema.
What does this all mean?  Thanks
