I just had my first Laparoscopy and I can tell you only what my doctor told me. Whether you can conceive or not is really dependent upon how bad the endo is and they can only really tell you that after the surgery is over. There is a window of time after surgery in which it is best to try, my doc said 18 months to two years is ideal. I know a lot of women who have conceived after laparoscopic surgery and some of them were told they would never be able to but they still did so don't lose heart. If you have any other questions about the actual experience of the surgery let me know. I was so nervous and scared but it really was not that bad as I thought. Let me know if you have more questions and I will see if I can be of any help. Best of luck to you
