Ovarian Cysts and Pregnancy

Im Nikki. I've been married since Nov. 08, but I have "been with" my husband since Dec. of 05. I have a cyst on my left ovary for sure, but am now suspecting I have one on my right as well. I have been TTC since November of 2008. No luck at all. My husband and I have been having unprotected sex since 2005 and I am starting to think it's wierd that I have had a little "surprise". As of today my period is 14 days late. I have taken 3 HPTs and they were all negative. I went to the gyno yesterday, and still, BFN! My husband thinks I am pregnant, but after seeing all these negatives I am giving up hope. A couple of years back I gained weight due to steriods for my knee (car accident) at a fast pace. I didn't have a single period for 4 months straight. The docs put me on a birth control to regulate my periods. I didn't stop bleeding for 6 months. They took me off the bc to stop bleeding, and sure enough, I stopped. So they put me on bc for a second time to regulate my periods. In September I decided to get off bc so we could ttc for November. My periods had been totally regular since then...until now. I don't know what to think, it's clear I have a hormonal problem but I don't know what to do. Is it possible that I am pregnant but am not putting off enough HCG for the tests to detect? My breasts have been sore on and off. I felt sick for a week straight. My ovaries feel like a fourth of july fireworks show going off. My gyno told me that if I am not bleeding in 2 weeks to call him and he will give my some pills to make me start my period. OH! And keep in mind through all this I have went through 2 packs of ovulation sticks and haven't got one positive test.I have been losing weight to boost my TTC odds so I think maybe that threw my hormones out of wack again??? I am so depressed. If anyone has any advice for me, or have went through a similiar situation please let me know. I've yet to find someone who knows what I'm going through or can even begin to understand.

If your doctor did a sensitive blood test and it was negative, you can be sure you are not pregnant. Be sure they do one before you take the pills to start your period. Just because you may not be pregnant right now does not mean you won't be in two weeks.
