Well, the journey has just begun for some who have been standing on the side lines, scared, timid, and unsure on how they will handle treatment and have reached out for a helping hand for it will be a long journey and will test your very being, endurance, inner strength and spirit as you move forward and those who are just ahead or have had their journey cut short will be helping you along as well as those who have come to the end of their journey and are awaiting the outcome of it. What better way to relax and learn in the camaraderie of follow hepers and remember to Geterdone!!! Good Luck and may the sx be kind.

Thank you for your kind words.Just to know experienced people who acually have been there, done that,stayed to help or moved on and or are treating, is such a relief to know theres a place to go and ASK.I want to Thank You and all the people who HELP people.
I'm going to start treating anyday.I'm waiting a week after approved to start.

To all of you who are starting tx soon.  Know that you have people here to help you.  I still consider myself a newbie and i am on 29 weeks.  I have whined, cryed, educated and laugh all on this forum.  I found remedies for side effects. i found cheerleaders to push me through it.  I felt like i was not alone.  I learned to ask questions.  and i found the most amazing people, who would help you at the drop of a hat.

Good luck to you all who are starting and if i can help you i will be here!

Well, it is official.  I got word today that I have been accepted into the Vertex tx naive trial. I start Thursday the 31st (?), but definately next Thursday at 10:30.  

So, Jasper, Rita:  Thanks for the words of support!

Kickboxingmom:  Let's do this thing!!!!

Let's see... Marcia, Fret, Rocker---who's next?  

So scared, but so excited to get this thing going.  Now if I could just be part of the 66%.....

Congrats on getting into the vertex trial. It sounds like you got your passport to misery and pain, lol. Just kidding!!! but a pass port none the less, I don’t know who all here are in the vertex trials but Andiamo1 has gone through it and was in the good arm cuz he had some discomfort doing the triple therapy but had reached UND after so many tries at treatments and is a waiting the SVR plato and tells some pretty tranquil stories of sailing and might be a good one to connect with in the beginning of your journey as to the sx of vertex. Hey! Don’t forget to strap in and hold on.

29 weeks! great passed the half way point and coming down the back stretch and just in time for the holidays. I know everyone is different but you may want to keep an eye on the thyroid. Mine really started osculating pretty bad around this time of the journey because of the toxicity of the meds.

Thanks for the well wishes on my free pass to tx-land.   Wasn't that an "E-ticket" back in the day.  (Anyone remember that at Disney???)

Andiamo is a good friend and seasoned warrior...well on his way to SVR.  

Lots of good advice from lots of good people.  I hope to one day return the favor to a fresh batch of newbies!  :-)
