Anxiety causes a myriad of VERY VERY real physical symptoms...one of the most common being chest pain. Actually...a combination of symptoms that mirror heart attack symptoms. Scary? HECK yes!!!!!
The good news is...at 15...you are NOT having a heart attack! How do I KNOW that? Because you have been THOROUGHLY assessed, had the appropriate diagnostic tests done...and they were fine. If something big and bad was going on with your heart...it would have showed up somewhere.
Are you addressing the anxiety with your physician? If not...that is where you need to start. Make sure you clue your parent/guardian(s) in about all of this if you haven't already...and see about them asking your doctor for a referral to a pediatric/adolescent psychiatrist who can properly assess and diagnose you...and begin appropriate treatment...most likely some talk therapy for sure.
We all know how scary those feelings are..but PLEASE take comfort in the fact that you have been assessed by a doc for these complaints (which is always good, btw)...and also the fact that SOOO many people with anxiety issues have experienced exactly the same thing.
Hang in there...and please let us know how you're doing. Try some deep breathing....and try to think positive, calming thoughts until the morning when you can get a hold of your doctor.
