Medication and possiable pregnancy?! HELP!

by Curiositystrikesagain, Jul 17, 2008 11:44PM
Okay i have asked this question a couple of times and i get mixed answers like people dont quite understand me. I am NOT trying to get pregnant. But i am no preventing 100%. I have been precribed a medication that i will need to take for 10 days. It says clearly on the bottle DO NOT TAKE IF YOU ARE OR MAY BE PREGNANT. I looked at the days on a fertility calender. the first day he did pull out but there was A LOT of precome. I was fertile, if you know about the calenders they go by color i was moderate on that day. Then 3 days later on my most fertile day of the month we had sex 2 more times that day. On the last time he started to pull out but didn't make it all the way. He came in me and on me down there. From the answers i am getting i have a 50/50 chance of being pregnant. I know there has got to be someone on here who can give me a better answer than that!
The medication is for an infection that could spread to my kidneys. I have been very close to kidney failure before so i am torn on what to do?! I should have started taking my meds on Monday!
Someone help!

Well, you won't know for a few weeks if your sexual encounters have resulted in a pregnancy. This is like closing the barn door after the horse has escaped but it would have been a good idea to use a condom while you have to take your medicine. Taking the medicine and getting well is your primary goal right now. Talk to your doctor, explain what has happened and perhaps you'll get a better idea of just how dangerous the medicine is to a developing fetus. Many medications will give that warning because there's a tiny risk of injury. Still, they have to state it. If all works out well, you won't be pregnant this time round and you'll get well.
