Do you have any other signs and symptoms? Urethritis is inflammation of the urethra. Discharge from the penis, stinging or burning during urination, irritation inside the penis and painful urination are the usual symptoms seen. A cotton swab and microscopical analysis are used for diagnosis. A variety of antibiotics may be prescribed based on the cause. If your condition persists, it would be good to see your doctor for proper evaluation and management. Take care and keep us posted.
