It is definitly an old wives tale. It's the same thing as carrying low (boy) or high (girl). My SIL carried high and had a boy (the chinese calender also predicted she would have a girl). My mom had 2 girls, one of us was high the other was low. I know my babyBabies and heat rashes Baby feeding patterns was moving when we did the u/s.
Thanx 4 the replies...All that really matters is that he/she is healthy! It would be neat to also have a girl and hopefully I can adapt to that like I did raising my boy. I just always felt so much more comfortable around boys even when babysitting when I was young. It'll be a new challenge for me that's for sure.
If they're moving around a lot, the heart rate would of course be higher, but if they're being still or sleeping, then it would of course be lower.
