could i be pregant again already?

In April 2008 i found out the i was pregnant with baby number 7 . and was thrilled. well on June 4th we had our first dr appt . to where we were suppose to be 11 weeks along . well to our surpise they could not find a heartbeat. so then the dr wanted a sonogram and could see a sac but no baby so than they did a vaginal sonogram to yet again find just a sac. they baby had stopped developing at 6.5 weeks along. but i hadnt had no bleeding no nothing????? so than the put me in for a D&C on June 5th and i had stopping for maybe 5 days at the max. well today is july 18th i have not had no period return yet and it has been 6 weeks since my D&C and i have felt weird this past week, i took 3 HPT and all three were POSTIVIE.. Can i be pregnant already without even having a cycle yet? and if so what is the changes of miscarrying again? and is it to soon ? can someone please help me . i have an appt on monday with my OB to take a pregnancy test with them but i have took three and all postive and have the symptoms of being preggo. i have 6 live births ranging from 10 to the youngest at 7 months  what the chances of being and having a great pregancy after a miscarriage . that was the only miscarriage i ever had i was blessed with 6 kids. So what are the chances of getiing pregnant after a D&C and not having a period? After 6 weeks your HG level wouldntstill be high right??? PLEASE SOMEONE HELP I WANT TO TELL MY HUSBAND BUT NOT SURE WHAT TO DO . HE WAS HURT BY THE PREIVOUS LOST... SHOULD I WAIT OR CAN I TELL HIM

You can be pregnant again and could very well carry to term.

Many women on here have gotten pregnant after a loss and before their next period...Most have gone on to carry to term.

You should wait until you see your doctor.

Its possible you are pregnant with a new pregnancy if you have been having unprotected sex, but its also possible (though not at all likely) that you had some leftover pregnancy tissue from the miscarriage that is still there producing HCG.

The doctor will likely have you come in several times to do bloodwork to see if the HCG level is rising appropriately, as would be the case in a new pregnancy.

I lost 3 and told my husband every time.  It was hard on him as it was on your hubby, but I needed the support and could not have dealt with the losses alone.

That is your decision.  You know what you can handle and what you can't.

I say, you need to tell him.  He's your husband.

Didn't think of that...yes...Peek is right.  You could have HCG still in your system from the lost pregnancy...

I know it took mine awhile to come down after my d&c

I HAVE HAD 6 GREAT PREGANICES THAN THIS ONE LOST. IM JUST CURIOUS THOUGH BECAUSE IT HAS BEEN 6 WEEKS SINCE D&C SHOULDNT HCG LEVELS HAVE BEEN BACK TO NORMAL BY NOW. I HEARD BY THE 3RD 4 TH WEEK AFTER A D&C LEVELS WHERE BACK TO NORMAL. WOULD LEVELS STILL BE HIGH ENOUGH TO GIVE YOU POSTIVIE RESULTS AFTER 6 WEEKS ALMOST 7 WEEKS AFTER THE D&C ...??????   I WANT TO BE HAPPY BUT THAN AGAIN IM STILL SCARED AND NEROUS AND DONT KNOW WHAT TO THINK. AND I HAVE THE WEEKEND TILL I GO TO THE DR. SO MY BRAIN IS A WRECK OVER HERE.. ANY ADVISE WOULD HELP .. THANKS EVERYONE

My HCG levels took 6 weeks to come down...and another 2-3 weeks to get my first AF.

I went almost 9 full weeks after d&c before AF returned.  And I was only 10 weeks along.

And yes, they can still be high enough to register positive on test.

so basically i should wait till i go to dr to find out for sure . what i gues he would have to montor hcg levels or can they do songoram to see if there is a new preganany??? thank you

I took 9 weeks before I got a negative pregnancy test after my D&C.  Very frustrating.  My levels were obviously slow to drop and we were tracking them after I called my doc and told them I was getting positive tests.  They had me come in for blood work and then again 48 hours later and they were dropping but by like 1-2 points every 48 hours.  Everyone is different. There is a possibility you are pregnant but also a possibility it's left over from pervious pregnancy.I'm sorry for your loss.

Yes - the Dr will want to monitor the hcg level or do a u.s to confirm if indeed it is a new pregnancy

thank you for your input guess i will find out next week i go to the dr on monday mornin but that is for there pregancy test. but isnt there test just like a HPT or will they do something different know ing i just had that D&C??? again  i appericate all this info it is very helpful. and i dont want to tell him until i know for sure if i am pregnant again or not. dont want to get his hopes up.

i had a mc on 26th april and i am pregnant again i am about 5-6 weeks pregnant now.

no i had to take a tablet to bring mine away but the doctor said to me even if i had a d&c my levels would of been back down to normal non preg women after 2 weeks because i was worried that it was just my hcg levels from my last pregnancy he assured me they werent and he was right lol

i bled for a day that was it some people i have heard dont need a period to ovulate which confused me but my friend had really bad irregular periods and she found out she was preg and hadnt bled for 2 month before

wow... i was shocked to lose one considering i had 6 normal ones. but we did get pregant 2 1/2 months after just having one so i guess that was a lil to soon.  and it has been 6 weeks since my d&c and only had a lil bleeding for less than 5 days  well one day i would spot next day i wouldnt than i would. and so on for 5 days. than i have felt 100% fine . and this last week i have felt neasuated. and took 3 test all to which where positive,, as we can tell i am very fertile.  i have 6 kids in the last 10 years. and just had a dnc on june 5th. in which i was suppose to be 11 weeks but baby stopped growing at 6 weeks. so during those 6 weeks that it wasnt alive in me shouldnt the levels had been dropping too?? this is just confusing and im impatience and have to wait till monday morning to go to dr....URRRGGGGHHHH
