Could it be Endometriosis

by tonya3, Jul 18, 2008 01:12PM
At 10 my daughter was diagnosed with crohns/ulcerative colitis?  No positive biopsy for anything except yeast.  She has continued with treatment but has flareups when she has her period.  If she goes a couple months with her period she doesnt have any bleeding in her bowels,  Could everything she has been experiencing, like diarrhea with blood be from endometriosis?  It started at age 10.  Her bowel is inflammed, but the biopsies came back negative each time.  She is going to she a female gynocologist and I am hoping finally this is the answer.  I think she needs to be on a low dose progestrone pill.  Please tell me what you think?  Thanks, Tonya and Mackenzie  Also she has periods that last for a week with intense cramps in her flank area.  Her tail bone is always paining her.
