Robitussin and Pregnancy?

by aaliyahlynn, Jul 18, 2008 07:15PM
My husband and I have been together for 6 years . We have a 4 year old that we had when we were 18 and 19, and now at 23 and 24 we would love to have another one but have not been pregnant since our daughter. My Dr. told me to start taking Robitussin to try and get pregnant. Has anyone else heard this or tried and worked for them?

In some clinical trials Robitussin (the kind with guifanessin) has been shown to thin out cervical mucus making it MORE friendly to sperm.

If you will google Robitussin and trying to conceive you will come up with dosaging amounts.

I hope this helps!

I tried it for two months...didnt help me.  I used evening primrose and preseed, the month I got pregnant.  Those things will only help if you dont have thinned out CM
