Continuous Chest Tightness

Hello all,
I am a 25 yr old woman who had a baby back in January....I had severe pre eclampsia and gestational diabetes during my pregnancy....
I have followed up with my dr and now have been diagnosed with high blood pressure and also after seeing an endocrinologist I learned I am pre-diabetic :(. I know most of it is because I am(can't believe I am going to say) 240 pounds(I'm 5'10).....
Anyway, about two weeks ago I laid down and couldn't breathe, it was like a sudden tightness in my chest...of course I freaked out and checked my blood pressure which was sky high(180/118)....so my husband took me to the ER where they did an EKG, some blood tests, and a chest X-ray which all turned out normal....they said it could be stress related which at the time I guess I believed and went home.....
However, this is still going on, it is all the time now, it feels like I have a 50 pound weight on my chest.....I went to my regular dr today who suggested it could be reflux? I did some research and chest tightness isn't a symptom....I am so terrified I'm going to have a heart attack that I know I am making it worse, so any insight would be appreciated.
