Semen in urine can be a sign of congestive prostatitis This can be due to infective or non infective causes.
You will have to have a urinalysis done, along with a prostate exam, to identify the cause of the problem.
The condition can be treated by a long course of appropriate antibiotics and antiinflammatory agents.
Yellow-colored urine could just be due to inadequate fluid intake or due to the infection.
You can do the following to aid healing:
Keep fluid intake in excess of 2000 ml per day
Add yoghurt and natural fiber to the diet.
Avoid sticky foods and prostate irritants, such as citrus fruits, caffeine, alcohol, and spicy foods.
Sitting in a hot bath can also provide pain relief.
Do keep us posted on your doubts and progress.
