Hi I have been reading your post daily like a soap opera. I even log in a work sometimes(dn't tell the boss). That is amazing how all of you have banded together and are getting positive outcomes. I just had my transfer today, so I have been laying in my bed reading these comments all day. Unfortunately I did not have that many eggs, but reading all of your post gives me hope. I need to start thinking positive. CONGRATS!!!!!! to all of you.

oh yeah I forgot what else I was going to ask. There were a few post about having to go to the bathroom. My RE's procedure is after the transfer I have to lay on the table for 1-2 hours and if I have to go to the bathroom it must be done in a bed pan. Has anyone heard of this?

Hi,
The place where I had my IVF was the 2nd success rate in the United States, they said that once the embryos are implanted they are not going anywhere.  They have you lay there for 5 minutes.  There would be no way I could have layed there for 1-2 hours.  I guess that is why you use the bed pan.  I guess that is just there protocol.

Good luck!
Aleks

Trudi- Wow! I'm so happy for you! Congrats! you must be elated! I am very excited that I have so many follicles. But the nurse said there is a point when there could be too many. So hopefully they just stay where they are now and mature.  12 on each side is good, I think.  Especially with some close to 14 and one at 14 already.

Lexie- I'm so glad to hear that you are not feeling much cramping. I have been so worried about the pain. I'm starting to think that it's going to be ok.

ascott- Thanks for reading all our posts. This is such a great website and I'm beginning to be addicted to it!!! :)  It's so nice to be able to chat with people going through exactly what I am.  Congrats on your pregnancy! Oh yea, in case you wanted to know....I wasn't ovualting or getting AF and my husband has low morphology and motility.  So IVF was our best option. We tried by ourselves for a year and then I was put on meds to help AF come and also clomid to help ovulate...then we found out about the low morph and mot. So here we are! I will have retrievel and transfer next week! Pray for us!!! :)

I dont know what happened to our other thread.  It was really long we need to start another one anyway.  Lexi I had mine done in Denver, and that is what I did, was layed flat on my back with my knees up and feet flat on the bed for 1 hour.  They let me pee in a bed pan after 10 minutes.  I agree I would of never made it for an hour I would of peed everywhere.  It looks like your transfer went good.  I just know its going to work out for you.  Do you know a way to let the other girls from our other thread find this one.  My computer just brings me to this one automaticly.  Congratulations again I know its going to work for you.  I got a first response hpt and it detected a positive pregnancy 2 days before my first beta.  Anyway congratulations again I will check on you tommarrow.
Big Hugs,
Audrie

We should be ok now with this new page of the forum.
I don't know the answer about how to let other people see  this or how to tell them to get here. Sorry! :)

Im glad to hear you are doing good.  I wad kind of like you.  I took 75 units of follistem most of the time with only 2 days of follistem at 150 units.  I had about the same number of follicles you did, and that is great.  I know you will do well.  Im not a fan of pain, but I can say the during the whole cycle I never had that bad of pain, nothing even as painful as your regular perio cramping.  The bloating was probably the wors for me.
Ascott- Thank you for reading our posts, this is the best site.  It gives you something every day to look forward to from all these girls, as we all progress.  Im like Sarbear11 I think I am addicted.
Tbeards- I bet you are so excited for twins.  Big congratulations.  My symptoms have stayed about the same for awhile, sore BB, food is disgusting, I am really sensitive to any different smells, and my back is kind of sore.  Did you have light cramping for awhile?  I go back on Friday for one more beta test to make sure my hcg levels have doubled again, and then I think I can kind of relax and take life easy, and enjoy being pregnant.
Wednesday was a great day for all of us. Congratulations to all of us!!  :)

Trudi: Congrats on the news of twins!! That is so amazing. You and DH must be so excited. When do you go back for another ultrasound?

Lexi: I'm glad things went well today. I rested the day of the transfer and two days after. It was so hard to stay in bed. I only got up to go to the bathroom. My clinic made my lay on the table for 10 minutes and it was so hard. I was so glad to let it all out afterwards. You are next honey. I can't waut to see you BFP post.

Sarbear: Glad things are going well with the injections. Next week is coming fast. I will be on vacation for a week and a half but I will try to keep in touch.

audrie: I'm so glad the numbers doubled. You are right on track! When is your next bloodtest or exam?

I'm feeling well. My main symptom right now is fatigue. I have such a hard time staying awake. I hate working so late all the time. I feel like I miss so much. You guys post really fast. I'm doing my best to keep up. I hope I didn't miss anything. Please keep me posted on everyone's status.

ascott: Welcome aboard!  Good luck to you. Rest up! Keep us posted on your status.

thanks for you comments about your cycle. That makes me feel better. I was beginning ot feel down about my high estrogen levels. I am just really hoping that they don't get too high and that I would have to cancel the cycle. That would be devastating. But I guess there are a number of things that they can do if they do get too high...including not take meds for a day or two to see if it comes down. Also, I am so glad you didn't have much pain...that was another thing that I was worrying about. Mabye I should stop worrying so much and just cross my fingers! Just wish I had a crystal ball and could see into the future!!! hehe...that would be too easy, huh?
Well, I will check in with everyone tomorrow! good night!!! :)

Hey girls,

Iposted a new question on th main page, it says new post and your names.  That can be the new one.  You just have to post a new question like the way Audrie did this one that we have been posting.

I am so happy for all of us and our successes.  It's hard to second guess yourself with everything.  Did I get up to much?  Should I have staed in bed for 2 or 3 days or anything else.  You can drive yourself nuts.

Well I am going to turn my computer around and go to sleep, check on all of you tomorrow.

Hopefultobeblessed:  I am glad you are doing good, I was worried I haven't seen you :)

Hugs to all,
Aleks

Trudi, Thanks for responding to my post and ...CONGRATULATIONS on the twins!  Yes, this post is definitely amazing - the most supportive and fun one I've seen (not to mention continuous, long, and edge-of-the-chair exciting!).
I'm 19 weeks and all is good!  Happy & healthy 9 months to you!!!
