For myself, a man of 60, I've noticed that it takes a bit longer each spring to recover from the inactivity of winter. The logs are harder to carry, I tire more quickly and I get cranky. This simply means that I must be more careful to stay more fit over the winter so I'm good to go when warm weather and my outside activity resumes. So much for the caviar and 3 martini dinner.
