Post Colposcopy

by nicole81, Jul 19, 2008 10:42AM
Hello all! I recently (about 1 month ago) had an abnormal pap and had my first colpo this past Monday. Everything went as I was told and expected until yesterday. Yesterday which was about 5 days post colpo the inside of my vagina started to itch and burn and be very uncomfotable feeling. I called my doc and she said it was prob a yeast infection and to take Diflucan, even though it didnt seem like a typical yeast infection to me at all. NOthing has changed and it still is VERY uncomfortable and burns a lot. DOes anyone have any suggestions? SHould I get an appointment next week or what? THanks
