Not another teen wanting to be pregnant! Please Help!!!

I wouldn't really call myself a teen, I will be 20 in Sept. and I have posted a question previously and just wanted to see if I could get more feedback.

The story goes I went off b/c about 2 1/2 months ago now, and yes of course I'm sexually active. The kicker is I have been told that you can get pregnant from precum. Is that true or false? But I'm going on about 3 weeks late and yes, I'm somewhat concerned with being pregnant considering I'm in college right now trying to get my RN, and a baby isn't want I need right now. We have unprotected sex at first and before he hits climax we put one on, is that a no no or what? Anywho...I told you I was going on 3 weeks late, I have been really tired (go to bed early & wake up late) and still feel like I need a nap at 3 in the afternoon, my nipples have been very very sensitive, TMI buttt I have had a white discharge (no ordor, itching, or burning) I have heard that is the body developing the mucus plug, and these weird cramps. Like not even close to menstral cramps, not to mention I feel different, like something is wrong...I just can't quite put my finger on it. I have taken 4 pregnancy tests, and they have all been negative so far, but I don't konw if I'm going to be one of those woman that have strange hCG levels either. I need some advice! Good or bad I'll take it! Im to afraid to go get a blood test in fear that they are gonna say "Welp, those other tests are wrong you are definately pregnant!"

Well Im 20 myself so I know where your coming from. Being tired, I dont see that has to do with any effects on beings pregnant. Being late after you got off of birth control it could just be your body getting use to not being on it. yes "pre-***" can possibly get you pregnant, but with me now I thought I was safe and never got "***" inside me but it happens without you noticing it. I didnt feel any signs until after I found out I was pregnant at 2 months so it could be your boobs just still growing, but there is always that possibility of just being pregnant. I would say wait another week or two, if no period then you should go to your doctor! Its hard to face yes, but you dont want to be stressing yourself out wondering if you are or not. Bye now

Thanks! I know that the symptoms I'm having could be a number of things, but I think I'll take the advice and wait another week or two and see what happens! That's if I don't go crazy before then...lol!

yes you can get pregnant from precum and everything your feeling could be from bc. if you three weeks late you really should have been able to get a postive hpt by now my gues would be your not pregnant.

That is actually the best news I have had! Do you think I should still go to the Dr to get things checked out!

you could go just to get a blood test and my bet would be that it would be negative.

you should go to the doctor because they can do a blood test just to make sure and if it is negative, sometimes they give you a med to bring on your period or they might tell you to wait a few mores weeks and come back if you do not get it.

May i ask why you got off the birth control?  if you do not want a baby and want to get your RN degree, which is a very intense degree for schooling, especially your last 2 years, you should think about going back on.  I have heard the mirena is a great BC and it takes away the resposibility of taking a pill everyday.  you are old enoigh for it as well.  many of my friends are on it and say they have had no problems.  plus it is good for 5 years, unless you want it removed earlier.  So 5 years of BC would help your through college and if you chose to start a family in 2 years, you can have it removed and start ASAP.

I went off the pill because it was causing me to have migranes and seizures. They were called conceptive migranes. Ever since I went off I haven't had a sign of a migrane coming. I never put two and two together because they started three years ago when I started the pill so.

I was curious to any of you that have had babies...do you ever like wake up or catch yourself like thinking "holy **** I'm pregnant" I do it all the time, lol but I don't even know for sure or not.

well there is always the mirena and that should not cause migraines.  talk to you doctor about it

Do you have an update, Tiffany? I had my first baby when I was 20 and I didn't consider myself a pregnant teen. No matter what does happen, you have support here.

Im still waiting for the call back from my doctor! I have relaxed and put all my symptoms and emotions in order, so if Im pregnant...so be it! and well if Im not I got really lucky. I think I have had these symptoms from the stress of my summer courses and going off the b/c 3 months ago!
