insulin pump and tanning beds

do you disconnect your pump while tanning ?

I guess I would. Our doctor said my son could be off the pump up to 2 hours a day. He doesn't take advantage of that, ever, though unless he's in the shower or swimming. I think a short tanning sesssion wouldn't be a problem to disconnect.
