Menopause & fertility

Hi,
I'm a 48 year old woman, no children. Know it sounds stupid but didn't realize my fertility would decline so quickly. Up until the age of 45 - 46 years I was trying to get pregnant naturally ("let nature decide") because I still had periods every 28 days but this only resulted in miscarriages (didn't seek any fertility treatment). Now for the past year have not had any periods for 6 months. No menopause symptoms at all except missed periods. Have gotten my hormones tested (1x) and FSH is very high, >150. LG is 41.92. Does this mean I have now completely entered menopause and no more periods are coming? Any risk/chance of pregnancy? Pretty depressing that it goes so quickly. Thanks in advance.

It creeps up on us doesnt it, you need to ask a fertlity expert this question, if it is so, dont loose heart there are a lot of children out there need a kind home , you could make some enquiries, you can become bonded to kids that arent your own I have taught and looked after children of all ages all my adult life and have been bonded and loved them like my own and they me., make some enquiries.
