Hi,

How are you?
Groin injury is injury to the muscles of the inner thigh. It is divided into three grades:
Grade 1 is mild discomfort with no disability. Grade 2 is moderate discomfort with swelling and bruising. Grade 3 is severe injury with difficulty in walking.
Resting, gentle stretching, alternate ice and heat therapy, OTC pain killers and physical therapy helps.
The rate of recovery will depend on the extent of injury. Please consult an orthopedic doctor as soon as you can. Take care!
