Gastritis - Bloated and Tired

Three months ago, after returning from Iraq, I visited a local neighborhood clinic operated by a nurse practitioner because I had no insurance.  My symptoms:  headaches, tiredness, bloated stomach, feeling full after a few bites of food, stomach cramps, belching, tightness in the chest, and difficult breathing.  I thought it was my high blood pressure.  But after taking a blood test, I was diagnosed with gastritis, acid reflux, and an ulcer.  She gave me an antibiotic prescription to treat the infection (gastritis) and put me on RANITIDINE 150 MG.

I have changed my eating habits becausem of high blood pressure and the gastritis/ulcer.  But after being on the RANITIDINE for two months, my belly is getting bigger and rounder.  I am feeling fuller all the time and after only a few bites of food, I am full.  I am extremely tired and irritable.  My bowel movements are more frequent.  I have headaches and sometimes feel nauseated.  I am belching constantly.  I am short of breath and my chest feels tight.

I am seeking a research program for this condition (I am a middle age Black female who acquired this condition only within the last year only after being diagnosed with high blood pressure) whereby I can get free treatment while participating in a study.
d for this condition as well.

Hi KG2004,
You can get relief from these dyspeptic symptoms by taking PPI and prokinetics.
Have an ultrasound scan abdomen and blood glucose test done.
