pulsing ear problem

by nansay, Jul 20, 2008 05:02PM
I hear a pulsing noise in my right ear whenever I put in my earplugs. This is the only time I hear it and it doesn't happen in my left ear. I have been using earplugs for many years and this has never happened before. It makes it difficult to use the earplugs and without the earplugs I can't sleep because my husband snores. Could this be tinnitus since this pulsing noise is not heard without the earplug?pup

I have this pulsating issue whenever I have fluid behind my eardrum - this usually happens as a result of an ear infection - it's really annoying to try to sleep and hear your heart beat in your ear. I pretty much have chronic ear problems so I guess I've gotten used to it!
