Bloated bladder

Hi there,
I am a 38 yr old woman with 2 children aged nearly 9 & 12. I've noticed when I need to urinate my abdominal area is quite bloated and tight with slight discomfort (it looks like I am pregnant) after I urinate this reduces back to normal size. This has been happening on and off for the last 6-9 months and I am noticing this almost daily now.
Any ideas on what the problem could be?
