my 2 year olds almost always has a cold/flu

From week one after birth his breathing has been heavy and labouring and has a running nose all year round. He tends to get really ill with cold/ flu.This summer his eyes waters, has itchy eyes and noses, snores all through the day. His eyes have turned brown. the left eyes does turn red very often and also swells up now and then. I have tried cetrizine but it has so far not been effective. Are there any other options?

Have you tried alternatives to milk? And, keep in mind it takes 3 full weeks to rid the system of all milk products but sometimes you see symptoms reduce in as little as 47-72 hours!
