BACK PAIN ON BUTTOCK

MY MUM FELT PAIN FROM RIGHT SIDE OF BUTTOCK TO HER CALF AND CAN ONLY LIE DOWN ON LEFT SIDE.
WHAT KIND TREATMENT SHOULD SHE GET ? AND ONLY PARACETAMOL "ZERIN" WAS GIVEN TO HER TO CONSUME AND ALSO ADVISE HER TO CONTINUE TO WALK DESPITE THE PAIN. SHE HAD DIABETES AND HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE AND SHE IS 74 YEARS OLD.
