IVF - 1st Ultrasound

Hi everyone!!!! I have a question about IVF/First Ultrasound.  I'm wondering how many weeks far along do I have to be to find out how many babies I'm carrying?........ We're hoping for twins.  Nurse told me 1st ultrasound is at 5 weeks.   Will they be able to see how many then?????

Congrats for your BFP.
At five weeks you might be able to see the sac or sacs.
At that point they should be able to tell you if you are carrying fraternal twins.
For identical twins i think you have to be at least 7 weeks.

I just found out at 5 and a half weeks that I was carrying identical twins and a third baby.  I go back on Thursday to check for heartbeats.

First of all congrats.  I am doing my first cycle of IVF right now also.  They will definitly tell you how many babies you have.  How many did you have transferred?  I am a little worried I won't produce allot of eggs because I am 35.  If you don't mind me asking how many did you have.  I love reading success stories.  Congrats again and let us know how many.
