baby position

by sarge1, Jul 21, 2008 01:29PM
This may be a dumb question, but I really don't know. What position is baby in right now (25 weeks)?  Because when I feel him moving around, it's always very very low on my left side, or right around my belly button. So I figured maybe feet low and left, and hands around mid-belly?  Is he supposed to be head down at this point, or does that come later?
Thanks

I believe he still has room to move around so he doesnt have to be head down yet. Fionn is still kicking and moving into different positions. I will be 25 weeks friday.

At 20 weeks my little boy was breech and the nurse midwife was not conerned b/c she said he had plenty of time to move around and get in the right position.  She also told me that closer to my due date that she will feel and see if he is in breech position, and if for some reason she can't tell she will order another u/s to be done closer to my due date.  I hope that helps.

At my 20 week ultrasound, my baby was breach also.  My Doctor told me it is no concern because the baby will move around and probably be in position when the time comes.

Breech is no concern at this point. DURING my sonogram, he moved from head down to breach and back again.  They are moving all over at this point!!

During my 20 week u/s my baby was head down.  The tech couldn't get a good view on the  heart so she asked if I could go to the bathroom and sometimes empting the bladder can get them to move around.  When I came back in she had flipped to the breach position.  Apprently it's pretty normal for them to flip back and forth at this point.

at this phase my doc said they have plenty of room to move around.....so honestly I cant really tell you what position my son is in. LOL My last u/s he was breech on the left side. But he moves alot as well of plenty of kickin/punching going on!
