I NEED AN OPINION IF I SHOULD GET INTACS OR NOT

hi i am a 35 year old white male and i have keteracounas i have had it since i was like 20 i think or near that well over the last few years i think it had gotten a little worse for my vision but i dont use my glasses to function all day but when i wear them i see the difference my eyes bother me a little without them but not to much and my eyes are healthy i was thinking about getting intacs once because i cant get laser i am not qualified but i am not sure if i should get the intacs and take a little risk even though i know they are pretty safe i just want to get an opinion from an expert what you would do if you were in my shoes that would be great since i am 35 i might not do it as if i was maybe 20 but i am still thinking about it a little anyway your opinion would be greatly appreciated thanks

You should schedule an appointment with a corneal specialist ophthalmologist to discuss your situation.  Intacs or only useful in select cases so you would need to discuss all the specific details of your case with the specialist.

I have no personal experience of my keratoconus patients having Intac surgery. I would get a second or even third opinion from a cornea specialist before having the procedure done. Even if it were to work find you will need reading glasses and computer glasses my age 40-45.
