This is unfortunate because it was originally posted in this forum, and that is where I assume the original poster would look for an answer -- not to mention that this is a relevant topic to everyone here for reasons mentioned above.
I don't think you're the fella who posted the weight loss question. Furthermore, my heart rate monitor shows me still alive, but thanks for the concern :)

............
The reason was because I experienced significant weight loss on treatment and needed all the calories I could get to keep me from wasting away and on treatment. Also, as many have reported, I experienced extreme taste alterations and most of the foods I enjoy now -- fish and vegetables for example -- made me nauceous just to think about. Eating on treatment for me was more survival than anything else. But oh, I do miss those cheese omelet, bacon and home fries breakfasts - about the only thing on treatment I do miss :)

He has both B and C ( for about 10 years ) and I now have been diagnosed with C ( test show I have had this for about 6 months so of corse no symptoms yet.) , and am thaking vacinations for the B.
My weight is 102 and I'm 5'2" , keeping weight on has been a problem for me for years .
But to the origional poster , I do agree that keeping a handle on your weight is a good thing under any circumstances , and in piticular when dealing with a serious illness . So no , I think your comments about "weight " most definantly apply here.
