Concerning spot

by state45, Jul 21, 2008 02:12PM
Hey guys, I'm new to this forum but have read around a little bit before.

I've had a few partners for receiving head but none for sex until previously.  She was my first and we had unprotected sex.  She seemed like kind of a ***** but, knowing this, I still went ahead.  She claims she is clean to this day and had tests done way after the fact.

This is what concerns me - I have a little red splotch, bump, mark, circular thing, on the "ring" of my penis.  It looks pink, red, white, all of the above at different times.  If I masturbate it looks pinkish and if it's after, it looks red.  If I can leave it alone for a while it almost turns to normal skin color again.

It has no sensation to it, i.e. no burning, tingling, itching, any of the above.  It's not a blister, although when I did try to pop it when it was white, it did scab over and I peeled the scab after I masturbated.

Other times, like right now, I can barely notice it's there.  In the direct light though, it does look a tad red.  Also, I can't tell if it's a wart or not - but it's not callousy or dry.

Thanks.

This sounds like it's probably nothing.  Lube, lube and more lube whether it's for sex or masturbation.

Should this continue - see your provider for proper evaluation.

Thanks for the reply.  It has been here for a while now (probably a few weeks) that I've noticed it.  It could be just something I never noticed before but when after I did it, I picked up a bunch of stuff that I've never noticed before.

Anyway, she claims she's clean and if we did it twice and she gave me head a few times then I think I'd be pretty clean myself.

When it's barely noticeable it just looks like it's lighter skin than the ring.  Barely noticeable and hardly different from the other little bumps down there (which I'm drawing a blank no the name now).

Thanks again.

Oh, and I wanna say it might be a scar or what not from when I picked the scab.  I'm so flipped upside down about this I don't even know what to think.

Why don't you get it checked since its concerning you so much?

Also, someone who does not have an std is "std free" or "negative."  "Clean people" shower.

And please - be careful of using the word you chose to describe her.  If you think that of her, and had sex with her, what does that make you?  ;)

That's true.  I asked her specifically and she said she was clean.

I plan on getting checked when I grow a pair lol.  Really though, I'm going to do it in a few weeks probably when it's free at the med clinic at school.

It was a bad choice for me, and yesss, I have learned my lesson.

OK you need to stop using the word "clean."  It implies that those of us who have an std are "dirty."  I tried explaining that tactfully, and I guess it didn't take lol.

When you go in a few weeks, have them do a type specific herpes IgG blood test.  Be prepared that your symptoms might not be there in a few weeks, though.

Ah, sorry for not catching that.  I thought you were making reference to the fact that she could have been playing my words.

I'll keep that in mind.  I had read on the internet that the sores would be there only for small periods (as in less than a few weeks like mine) before they left.  I had also read that they would hurt, first off and foremost.  Mine doesn't hurt or itch or do anything.  It's just a "discolored" pretty much patch.  I was taking a look at it while I was taking a leak and noticed that there is almost a really small lump if you spread the skin out real far.

It's weird that it changes color.  That to me makes me think it's almost just a scar.

Doesn't sound like much of anything but remember, herpes is a VERY variable disease! It doesn't always hurt! Sometimes you get no lesions at all but have the virus in you! Other's, it's a painful journey. Also, when someone says they are STD Free (Clean, sorry AJ), use it as a reference and not a fact. Know they MAY be lying or never tested!! What you have doesn't sound like anything important. My advice to you is stop masturbating for a year and see what it looks like next July :)

Ah, so it doesn't sound like herpes or any other STD? It doesn't really fit the description of anything I'm familiar with (and I've spent a lot of time researching things).

You really need to get this checked out.  Its not sounding like an std, but you need to get it checked.

We can't diagnose you over the internet.

Well, I haven't masturbated since I first posted this thread.  The spot is still there.  Almost looks kind of white with a reddish haze over the top.  It's weird.  I can't tell if it's a scar or not...

Any more advice?

Ah, I can see two little, teeny tiny white bumps next to each other in the spot.  I really pray to God this isn't genital warts.  Is that what it is sounding like?

by auntiejessi, Jul 24, 2008 10:12AM
Its sounding like you are obsessing and checking your penis too much, and you need to see your doctor.

It could be warts, but it could be normal skin variations.

Just see your doctor or go to an std clinic.

Aj, you're right.  I am obsessing way, way too much.  It's almost become a hindrance in my life.  Try to eat, think about it and lose my appetite.  Working in the yard all hyped up, think about it and I start thinking about all the things it would be a roadblock.

I do need to get it checked out soon and will once I get down to school.  I read that 60% of people will get it from a partner that has it.  If she actually did test clean then I'm good.  We had intercourse twice and, technically by the odds (I do know the logistics of it), then even if it was dormant in me, she technically still would have gotten it.

Regardless, thanks for the help and if I remember, I'll post back with my findings.
