I'm not sure if anyone else has been following her story.  It was posted quite
awhile ago but this little girl isn't doing well and could use some prayers and/or

I just read that Sidney passed away last night.  She went through alot.  My heart goes out to her family.

This is such a sad story. I cried after reading her story. It's just so sad seeing a baby in pain and not able to live a full life like others. I think about our short stay in the NICU for 3 weeks and how painful it has been seeing my own child, born 3 days prior to Sidney in pain. Our pain is nothing compared to theirs. I have said a prayer for their family and that Sidney now has angel wings. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks to everyone - It has been a very hard night and day for us as Sidney did pass away at 12:30 last night.  I have been up all night crying and it's just so hard to believe that she's gone.  My niece is doing very well under the circumstances but was there to hold her in her final minutes.  

I want to thank each and every one of you who have been here for me from day one.  She fought so hard only to lose in the end.  However we were blessed to have her in our life - and we got to help her celebrate her first birthday this past weekend.  

I'm not sure what else to say except thank you and god bless all of you and your children.  Keep them close and safe!!

This is just so heart breaking....I have kept my whole family updated on Sidney from day one, and so it was sad having to call them all telling them that Sidney was now an angel. Although we did not personally know her, we were pulling for her. I am praying for your family Kelly, and I pray that Sidney's parents and siblings can find a way through the pain.

Oh why did I look, I'm still at work and almost in tears.  I can't even imagine the pain that your family has endured.  I want to send you my prayers and hope you all have the strength to get through this painful time.

I don't even know what to say.  I am from the twin cities and have followed Sidneys story since it was on the news last summer.  I think there are many complete strangers that are feeling your terrible loss right now. She was the strongest little girl I have ever seen and I will remember her always.

I know there are so many people out there that have been pulling for her and it is so great.  I just wish things could have turned out differently.  I haven't stopped crying all day - I just keep looking at her pictures and asking why God could take such a precious little girl who fought so hard.  

She started going down hill when the nurse gave Sidney the wrong medication for 3 days and she never recuperated from that mistake.  Courtney has lots of unanswered questions and I can't even imagine what she's feeling now.  

Now they are making arrangements to fly her body back to Minnesota for burial.  Thanks for hanging in there with her for this very long year - at least we were able to celebrate her 1st birthday this past weekend.

God tears come to my eyes every time I think about her, you, and your family. This must be so hard, and it is so heart breaking. She fought so hard, and it is unfair that someone else's mistake may have cost her her life. However, we are all human and as humans we make mistakes. I feel so bad inside today! I still just can't believe it, she was a brave little girl.
