Unsure of what to expect

by Rocco01, Jul 21, 2008 02:49PM
My husband was diagnoised about 10 yrs ago. He under went chemo treatment and nuprigen injections, at this time we were told it was gone. This past year he had anemia and the levels ranged from 7.5 to 9.6. He develoveloped  hi pain and a cough. It was determined that the pain was probably gallballaderand he started to get tested for the cough. From this  and the MRI they found cyst or tumors, followed by a bone marrow the WM had reemerged. He started on chemo but reacted to the Ritixon very severly. They stopped treatment took another MRI and the cyst had slightly gotten smaller, but not gone. His anemia is at 9.6 or 10.4 depending, he was on predisone and now is undergoing dizzy spells. Is there a location in MI that specializes in WM? He has a great doctor but we aren/t sure he really understands WM. Also what do we expect next?  My husband is 49 and wonders if he hasn't actually had this longer then 10 yrs.
