itching pup

My dog is 6 months old and recently ate a dead birds wing. She is constantly scratching and biting at her back, legs and tail. I noticed her hair has begun to thin out in those spots. What could be the cause of this I was told it could be mange but don't know what that is.

Is your dog vaccinated? I would suggest taking him to the vet. He can have some kind of skin allergy...

Could be scabies or flea allergy. get to a vet ask for skins scrapes and either you or your vet consult a vet dermatologist.
