pregancy test results

hi there. so i'm 3 days late for my cycle we are trying to conceive, my cycles are always regular usually to the day 26-27 days apart I took a preg test this morning and it was neg. what are your thoughts on this I've never been pregnant before so I'm not sure if maybe ovulation took place later than I thought and I am pregant but it isnt showing up yet.

just because your 3 days late doesnt mean your gonna get a bfp. you maybe like me and have to wait a week
