Is there a blood test for panic attack? Like elevated chemicals in the blood?

Wouldn't this be great. If they could measure the level of something that is released during a panic attack so doctors could know if you are producing your symptoms or not? Is this possible? Anxiety releases stuff in the body right?

What an awesome thought.  It would be even better if they could give us the right medication or therapy based on those test results!!!!!  No more trying one then another, knowing what works in a day.......  we can dream!!!!!!

Can cortisol not be measured in the blood stream? Isn't this the chemical that is released through stress? I guess that there must be a way but it cannot be that reliable as if it were then the doctors would be ordering this test left, right and centre.
