Transmitting Genital Warts

If you have been treated for genital warts and they are no long visible is it still possible to spread the warts to your partner? If not do you think it is necessary to tell your new partner and if so, how?? that's gotta be hard.

the doctors in the Experts Forum-std's Drs.Hook and Handsfield state that once u have these warts burned off the virus is gone in about 6-9 months. And that is a minimum guesstimate. There are many opinions on whether or not to disclose this info. to a new partner......in this day and age with all the std's floating about out there i think it wise for ppl to inquire of potential partners their history of std's.......this is ur health ur talking about here!better to be safe than sorry later on taking the time $$$$ and mental angst getting a std can bring about!Of course many do not do this so condom use is the best way u can protect urself!
