Nerves come out of the spinal canal through the neuroforamin. At the level of L5-S1 you have a neuroforaminal stenosis on the right side. Depending upon the degree of stenosis there is nerve root compression which causes pain.
There is also a disc bulge at L5-S1 level and mild disc bulge at L4-L5. This disc bulge occurs due to herniation of the disc.
In most cases of neuroforaminal stenosis surgery is the only option depending on the individual case. I would suggest you to take a second opinion on this. Take care!
