evidence of tubal ligation during sugery, but never had one

Hi, I just had surgery to remove a complex mass. All very confusing, but they took out my right ovary and fallopian tube, pathology came back O.K., but sighted evidence of a tubal ligation ---- I never had a tubal ligation. Does this suggest anything specific to anyone? Was worried that something was hiding beneath scar tissue that they left in there, but from what I have read, (Up all night) it looks like whatever he saw would have come out with the ovary.
#2 Are biopsies ever wrong or false-neg? I only ask because it seems he was seeing something there. I am STILL waiting for him to call me on this. I think I've got them scrambling a bit.

Also, I have been very nauseous over the past 24 hours. no fever. Is this alone a concern?
