heart beat of child

i got my last period on 11.6.08. on 18th july i found that i tested positive. i went for ultra sound on 21.7.08 and the doctor did not find the heart beat.Could u tell me how many weeks pregnant i am and when child get its heartbeat.

If the first day of your LMP was June 11 then on July 21 you would be 41 days pregnant or 5w6d.  The heartbeat is usually seen after 6 weeks (can vary by a few days).  Keep in mind there are sometimes slight variations depending on when you ovulated (while dating is done by first day of LMP).  I suggest returning in a week to 10 days and you should see a heartbeat then.

BTW, did the doctor tell you what the baby was measuring?  Did it fairly closely correspond to the above dating?

Ok maybe someone can help me I started my period on the 3rd of July and it was light the of the 4th I just spot and when Saturday came around nothing then of Sunday I spoted at 10:30 pm and then nothing after that. I took 2 pg test and both of them did not registered. Plus I have been having a lot of pain in the lower left side and sometimes on the left side of the navel. I pee more then I use to and when I am hurting I eat and sometimes it goes away and sometimes the pain is still there but not as bad. So I really don't know what to do can someone help me please.... Thank you
