darkened narrowed discs in mid spine

by sumbmw, Jul 22, 2008 10:43AM
Can someone please help,i have just had an mri scan done on the whole of my spine after having problems for 3 years with pain, muscle spams and parathesia in fingers and left leg and foot. The mri scan showed i have a buldging disc at c4 level in my neck and also severe whiplash symptoms incl ripped muscles ect. Also they found that from the t6,t7,t8 and t9 level of my thoracic spine i had severe darkened and narrowed discs that were impinging my spinal cord.I also must add that i have had 2 operations on my left shoulder and the disc damage in my neck was done after a car accident 3 years ago.I have studied the buldging disc in my neck and the whiplash ect and understand what is it but can someone please tell me reasons for the 4 darkened and narrowed discs in my thoracic spine pls?

Im a 26 year old female that is 5ft 4 inch and weighs 8 1/2 stone.
thankyou so much
