popping sensation in the head

My dad has recently been forgetting things and has been to the doctors to find out if he has alzimers (ad) but forgot to mention that he has a popping sensation in his head, what could this be?

I am really disappointed not to have received a reply by now and was hoping for some advice on what could be wrong. I guess i will search the internet for some answers.

Hi I am 32 years old and have had this popping sensation in my head along with the pressure for two years this was my first symptom. I now have muscle wasting and memory problems. From what I have researched this type of pressure or popping are sometimes the first symptom of a neurological condition. I have talked to people who have ms and motor neuron disease who experience this sensation. I have found dr's are not very knowledgeable about this type of headache. at first I was even put through sinus surgery which did not help the problem. I hope you find your answers.
