oral sex injury

by mizimike, Jul 22, 2008 03:43PM
about a week ago my gf was performing oral, and got a little crazy with the teeth. She scrapped a piece of thin skin off the head of the penis. I have been putting neosporin on it religiously but it doesnt seem to be healing, and possibly infected. im not sure what it should be looking like. or how long this should take to heal? any help out there?

Hi,

Most scrape or wounds may become infected 24 to 72 hours after the initial break in the skin. There is infection if any of the following is present: pus, pimple or yellow crust formed on the wound, increasing redness around the wound, extreme tenderness, pain or swelling increase, lymph node in your groin becomes tender, fever, or if it does not healed within 10 days after the injury. It is best to see your doctor for proper evaluation and clinical diagnosis.  Take care and keep us posted.
