envelope antibody POSITIVE=?
core antibody POSITIVE=you have previous HBV or you are recovering from acute HBV
You are right having your doctor follow you.
Best.
You are always so helpful. More so than the doctors it seems;-) Is there such a thing as immediate referral to infectious diseases and not delaying for 3-6 months to see if one clears the virus? Thanks in advance.
In the battle against HBV, immediate referral typically is not to see if the virus has been cleared, typically it is to deal with something negative that has developed.
Clearing the virus even by your own immune system typically takes time and does not require immediate referral.
Best.
When did you first test positive? I don't know your history.
I was first tested on 07/08/08, positive surface antigen only. Then went for more labs and retested on 07/16/08. The results are not complete, but that's what he has so far. Thanks.
but it seems u dont need any medicine. u r lucky and u cant affects any body else.
I don't know yet. Supposed to get info today, but it's early;-) But so far, they state unequivocably that I am chronic and infectious. Although still awaiting e-antigen and DNA. Will keep you informed. Have a good weekend, Guys.
My husband's doctor just called to tell him that he tested NEGATIVE for HepA, HepB, HepC and HepD. So he didn't give it to me and I didn't give it to him. I can't wait until Monday to tell those other two doctors to kiss my bum!!!!
Give 'em hell!
He's going to have his anti-HBs tested on Tuesday;-) and probably vaccinated then too. Have a nice weekend everyone and God Bless for your support. I have really benefitted from it!
